Xiaomi launches Mi Power Bank with Quick Charge 3.0 support

Xiaomi launched an updated version of the 20000mAh Mi Power Bank with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0. It is priced at CNY 149 (roughly Rs. 1,451) and is available in White color. The new power bank would be Xiaomi’s last product for the year. It will go on sale starting from December 19th. Xiaomi introduced its 20000mAh Mi Power Bank last year in china and later in India.

 

The new 20000mAh Mi Power Bank is similar to the previous version in terms of look and feels going with the same ABS plastic body instead of an aluminum body. However, there are some changes to the dimensions of the new version. The new power bank measures 135.5×67.6×23.9mm making it more compact but slightly thicker than its predecessor.

Mi Power Bank with 20000mAh comes with high-density lithium-polymer batteries with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and two-way fast charging. The power bank offers two USB ports with 5.1V / 3.6A rating for two connected devices and supports 5V/2.4A-9V/2A-12V/1.5A. The power bank will charge most phones, tablets and even supports the latest Apple MacBook. As of now, there is no word about Xiaomi will launch the new 20000mAh Mi Power Bank globally.

Chinese tech firm Xiaomi is the best-known for its range of affordable smartphones. Xiaomi has introduced a number of thoughtful products, such as smart air-conditioners, air purifiers, bedside lamps, webcams, routers, televisions, Android TV boxes, fitness trackers and also a ‘Smart Home Kit’ to protect your property from thieves.

The company also makes some devices, like smart pens, smart umbrellas, self-balancing e-scooters and more. However, smartphones continue to remain the major revenue-earner for the ambitious Chinese startup, and with the smartphone accessory market getting bigger by the day, the company’s headsets, external battery packs, and flip-covers have also been doing business in major markets like China and India.
